- ➤ Montana is nearly snowless this November because the natural weather phenomenon La Niña has kept temperatures high—resulting in a snowpack as low as in 2017; federal forecasters predict winter will bring more precipitation to the northern Rockies and Great Lakes while other areas remain drier.
