- ➤ Butte-Silver Bow County officials announced a new $168 million budget that will let most homeowners pay less in property taxes—especially for homes valued at $400K or below—while also raising sewer and trash rates and boosting most county employees’ pay; the budget includes an extra $250,000 to cover overtime costs from a recent water scare and runs retroactively from July 1 through June 30.
