- ➤ On Aug. 1, 1917, masked men kidnapped and killed IWW organizer Frank Little from his boarding house in Butte and left a note reading 'First and last warning', a grim act that marked a key moment in the city’s mining legacy. KXTL

- ➤ The 'Quilting through Time' event will be held in May at Maroon Activity Center; local vendors and designers will be present, and attendees can purchase raffle tickets (details available at the center). The Montana Standard
