Divide Grange will host a pinochle tournament at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 at Divide Grange Hall on 105 Schoolhouse Road.

🚨 Crime
On Aug. 1, 1917, masked men kidnapped and killed IWW organizer Frank Little from his boarding house in Butte and left a note reading 'First and last warning', a grim act that marked a key moment in the city’s mining legacy.
🎭 Culture
The 'Quilting through Time' event will be held in May at Maroon Activity Center; local vendors and designers will be present, and attendees can purchase raffle tickets (details available at the center).
The Main Stope Gallery is featuring earth artist David Johnson as part of the Butte Artwalk Series this Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will display his work and celebrate local art.
🎓 Education
Butte students will compete in the Hall of Fame championship on Thursday, May 7 in Butte.
They have prepared with study packets covering algebraic equations & English, spelling, social studies and reading a novel.
🏛️ Government
The Urban Revitalization Agency approved a $130,825 grant for Dirty Dog & Auto Wash today on West Mercury Street near the Mai Wah Museum in Uptown Butte, and the project will boost local revitalization.
