  • The Holiday Decoration Contest brought the community together as judges selected winners Scott Miller of Belgrade + Maribel Rodriguez of Butte from many festive entries.  KXLF
  • Montana first responders (local police officers) spread holiday cheer at Butte’s 'Shop with a Cop' where families received help buying Christmas gifts. The event brought smiles and festive spirit throughout the community.  The Montana Standard
  • Mike Mengon and Larry Driscoll have volunteered with the Butte Emergency Food Bank for seven years — their dedicated service has brought essential support to local families. The pair's ongoing work helps keep food access reliable in the community.  The Montana Standard

SPORTS NEWS

  • At the Butte Civic Center Tuesday evening, Montana Tech football players were honored at halftime during the City Championship games, recognizing their Frontier Conference Championship and 12-1 season (record). Several local high school athletes and coaches, including head coach Kyle Samson, received recognition for their roles.  KXTL
  • Butte High Bulldogs and Butte Central Maroons girls basketball teams will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at the Butte Civic Center for the City Championship doubleheader, with the boys' game starting at 7:30 p.m. Both teams aim to break their losing streaks.  KXTL
