Metals will host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday (Dec.
13) to offer a festive event for local families.

The Our Lady of the Rockies gift shop moved from Butte Plaza Mall to 1707 Continental Drive to offer a better view of the 90-foot statue and faster bus tours; it opens this week and runs Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with tours from June through September.
Local ice carvers are ready for a contest Saturday in Uptown Butte where they will work on ice blocks weighing more than 300 lb until the 3 o'clock deadline.
Jack Rogers and Raymond Rogers will host a book launch and signing for their new work 'Dinosaurs of Montana' at Montana Tech, drawing local readers and fans of regional history.
The event promises a chance for community members to explore Montana's rich dinosaur heritage.

A national study found Montana roads were only 87.3 percent acceptable in 2020 (a 9.6 point drop from 2000) and ranked 13th for deteriorating conditions.
