- ➤ Cheryl Frederick has organized the free Thanksgiving-style meal at the Knights of Columbus for 14 years to help local residents in need. The program serves meals twice a week and receives support from the Butte Emergency Food Bank — an effort that brings encouragement to the community. KXLF

- ➤ Fifteen Bryant Elementary students teamed with local artists last week to paint a mural that shows Mount Helena and animals symbolizing the seven grandfathers teachings—an effort that honors Native traditions—and celebrates cultural pride. The Montana Standard
