  • The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation donated $372,000 to support local community projects—official details on how the funds will be used have not been announced.  The Montana Standard
  • The Thompson Family Food Drive, in its 37th year, will aim to collect 100,000 pounds of food and $75,000 in donations for Butte's Emergency Food Bank on Dec. 6—local residents can leave food or cash donations by 10 a.m., and Shawn O'Donnell's Restaurant will host a fundraiser on Nov. 10 with 20% of food sales donated to the drive.  KXLF
  • Butte SPIRIT Homes plans to add a women's transitional home as its third recovery facility (expanding services for local residents) in Butte.  The Montana Standard

  • Montana Tech Athletics is hosting the 'Dig Deep' fundraiser at the Butte Depot on February 14th, 2026—doors open at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a calcutta-style drawing starts at 8 p.m. to support travel, gear, and other expenses for its top sports teams.  KXTL
