- ➤ The Butte Elks Lodge is hosting the Thanks for Giving fundraiser on Friday at 5 p.m. to benefit the Belmont Senior Citizens Center and Butte Meals on Wheels program featuring bingo, a silent auction, meals for purchase, and a bake sale—doors open at 4 p.m. with a $10 entry fee that includes two bingo packets and extra packets available for purchase. - ➤ Montana Tech students are partnering with Walkerville, the Hungry Hill Center for Art, Education and Outreach, and the Montana Department of State to work on the Blaine School brownfields project, which aims to repurpose the shuttered school.
