- ➤ Butte's annual Witches Ball arts market will take place on Halloween at the Finlen Hotel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.—20 local artists will showcase Halloween-themed creations and attendees can purchase afterparty tickets at $35 preordered and $40 at the door for a $500 costume contest, live music by Desperate Electric, and kid-friendly candy. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Butte High Bulldogs host their final regular season volleyball game on senior parent night while the Butte Central Maroons play a road match in Dillon, and both schools are preparing for playoff football later this week — the Bulldogs will face the CMR Rustlers on Friday at 7 p.m. and Butte Central will play Whitefish on Saturday at 1 p.m. KXTL
- ➤ The Butte Sports Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its 2026 class until the end of the year from local athletes, coaches, and contributors who have finished competing at their highest level. A public forum will be held on Jan 26 at the McQueen Club — nominees may present for up to 3 minutes while inductees will be named in February with ceremonies on July 24 and 25 at the Butte Civic Center.
