- ➤ The Bozeman Paranormal Society hosted its fourth annual Big Sky Paranormal Conference at the Clark Chateau in Butte on Saturday—featuring nearly two dozen speakers, ghost tours, classes, a séance and workshops. Organizers said the event attracted as many as 80 people and showed growing local interest in paranormal topics. The Montana Standard
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Anaconda’s 585-foot free-standing brick smelter stack closed on Sept 29th, 1980, causing 3200 job losses and ending a century of local mining. The structure now draws tourists and is celebrated each year during Smelterman’s Day festival—honoring its role in the region’s industrial past. KXLF

- ➤ Bluefield Reality data shows Montana is one of the most expensive states for luxury homes, with prices averaging 1.8 million and ranking fourth among costly states.
