  • Amazon's new delivery center opened in Butte on Tuesday on Ascension Drive—this over 10,000-square-foot facility marks an $11 million investment that will create at least 50 local jobs for warehouse processing and delivery driving.  MontanaRightNow

CULTURE NEWS

  • Aaron Flint, host of Montana Talks, detailed his radio career on the Big Sky EDA Vault podcast—explaining his early work with JP Donovan on Berg in the Morning and how his small-town roots inspired his mission to amplify rural voices.  KXTL
  • Historian Chris Fisk is set to lead ghost hunting tours of haunted sites like the Dumas Brothel and Silver Bow Club this October in Butte. Tickets cost $30 per person and tours on October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with participants required to be 18 (or older).  KXTL

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Butte teens and preteens will share their views on banned books at a Bugsy Malone-themed speakeasy this Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Covellite Theatre. The event—organized by the Butte Public Library as part of Banned Books Week—follows recent library rehearsals and is inspired by similar programs in other communities.  The Montana Standard
