The Butte Elks Lodge hosted its final Cruise Night of 2026 Wednesday evening on Galena Street, where classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles competed for a People’s Choice Award with winners earning $50 gift cards to local businesses (HP2 Cafe and Western Meat and Sausage Block).
Butte installed Blue Star, Gold Star, and Green Star Memorial markers at Stodden Park to honor military veterans in commemoration of the nation's 250th birthday.
The markers, which revive a historic tradition (first seen in Butte decades ago), serve to recognize active-duty members, fallen soldiers and those lost to suicide.
Harrington Bottling Company of Butte will launch Montana's Treasures at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.
29 at the Butte Depot. Special Olympics Montana is the first group honored in the initiative that celebrates everyday community contributions.

Cutler Brothers Theatre will present its new production Clue from Oct.
2—Oct. 18 in Butte. The play reimagines the classic whodunit with a local twist.
🎓 Education
The Butte Literacy Program is hosting its second annual Get Stung Adult Spelling Bee at Butte Elks Lodge on Saturday, Oct.
10. Adults can test their spelling skills + enjoy a lively challenge during the event.
