- ➤ Montana will host Oktoberfest celebrations in several towns as Big Sky holds a festival with live music, food, and a 2-mile fun run from September 26 to 28—Whitefish will hold The Great Northwest Oktoberfest from October 2 to 4 and again October 9 to 11 with traditional German vendors and dancing. Smaller events like the one in Livingston further celebrate the state’s German heritage. KXTL
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Demolition of the old Herberger’s building at Butte Mall will begin at the end of this week as new owner Dickerhoof Properties plans to redesign the property into a plaza style center with a large grocery store—two longtime tenants will keep operating with only minimal interruptions during construction.
