- ➤ Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks warned upland game bird and archery hunters that rising grizzly bear activity may put them at risk following the start of bird season on September 1st and archery season on September 6th—hunters should carry bear spray, hunt in groups, and stay alert in thick cover areas. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, the Butte High Bulldogs played in several volleyball, soccer and flag football games at home and away. They will continue a busy sports week with an overnight golf trip starting Wednesday, football on Friday and cross country on Saturday—facing local rivals. KXTL
