Two retired Butte officials are organizing the Butte Food Bank Fundraiser & Food Drive at the Butte Depot, which will be held from 4-7 p.m. Sept.
10 to support local food bank efforts.
Stevensville first responders will hold a silent procession through town and a memorial ceremony at Lewis & Clark to honor 9/11 victims on the 25th anniversary of the attacks.
The event is part of the annual remembrance.
🎭 Culture
Hardcore punk band Black Flag is set to perform at The Covellite in Butte on Wednesday, Sept.
9. The band will tour across the country through January and advance tickets are $37 before prices rise on the day of the show.
🎓 Education
Butte Central High School will kick off its homecoming celebrations before a 7 p.m. varsity volleyball match on Thursday, Sept.
10 between the Maroons and Stevensville Yellowjackets—additional festivities are set for Sept. 11.
🌲 Environment
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks lifted hoot-owl fishing restrictions on Friday on the Madison River above Hebgen Reservoir, noting the change in regulations after a review of local conditions.
