  • Butte Archives and Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation Department hosted a Hike Through History tour that showed a rarely seen mining district near the Bell Diamond Complex and the restricted north Pit viewing area. Tour guides Ed Heard and Abby Peltomaa explained the old mine headframes — including the Modoc headframe — and the views of the abandoned Berkeley Pit.  KXTL
