A new study from Easton & Easton LLP shows Montana ranks second nationally for fatal passing maneuvers with 8.06 deaths per million residents recorded from 2020 to 2024 on long highways; researchers advise drivers to exercise extra caution.

High Ore Road will play today at 6 p.m. in a quarter mile underground venue — the Orphan Girl mine shaft in Butte — with ticket proceeds benefiting the World Museum of Mining.
The Montana Folk Festival ended in uptown Butte yesterday with record crowds and 850 volunteers powering a free three-day event.
Crews broke down the six stages, and festival director George Everett began fundraising today for next year’s festival.
