The Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives is hosting Hike Through History events featuring beginner to moderate guided hikes—hikes start at 9 a.m. on Thursdays and run through Sept.

Butte businessman Stanley Marks purchased a vintage Chrysler Airflow that has been in Alexandra Antonioli’s family for 90 years+ preserving a cherished piece of local history.
The 2026 Montana Folk Festival kicked off Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Original Mineyard, featuring Celtic tunes from Montreal, honky tonk from Marshall and blues from Mississippi across four stages with food trucks and family areas added for community fun.
Butte's Uptown district is covered in faded ghost signs that reveal its mining boom heritage during the Montana Folk Festival.
Visitors can enjoy a walking tour to view these historic relics (each sign tells a unique story from decades past).
