Yesterday, July 4, Butte celebrated America’s 250th birthday with its annual Fourth of July parade.
The festive march on Harrison Avenue featured 144 floats and was led by Marine veteran Mike Lawson + longtime community participant.
Montana Folk Festival needs about 900 volunteers to set up six stages for the free, three-day event starting July 10 at Original Mine Yard—volunteers can sign up online or at Steward Mine Yard on North Main Street.
