- ➤ Last night, Cruise Nite at GTR Towing Repair kicked off the summer with ideal weather—upper 60s and no rain—and a display of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles with local food options. - ➤ Fugitives Caldwell, Lasell and Wagner are wanted in Butte for charges including a 2020 robbery, animal cruelty, and felony burglary, and Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff Ed Lester said police are checking social media and national databases—tools that will help bring them in. The Montana Standard

- ➤ Water flows again for Montana’s Hi Line after the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation completed repairs on the St. Mary Siphon Wednesday afternoon, resuming water deliveries on the Milk River for more than 110,000 acres of farmland and local communities+ crews have now moved downstream to begin replacing the Halls Coulee Siphon to secure future water supply. Greg Gianforte signed a $16.5 billion two-year state budget that funds health care, education and public safety while using his line-item veto to cut over $380 million in spending he deemed unnecessary — the budget includes Medicaid expansion and teacher pay raises while property tax relief was passed separately.
