- ➤ New Miss Montana and Miss Montana Teen for 2025 were crowned at the historic Mother Lode Theatre in Butte on June 20 to 21 + the pageant celebrated its 75th Anniversary and 20th crowning of the teen title. The Montana Standard
- ➤ Americonda is a music event set for June 29 at Smitty’s Barn west of Anaconda where seven singer-songwriters will perform original Americana songs outdoors if weather permits — advance tickets cost $20 and door tickets cost $25. The Montana Standard
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ In Butte, the Citizens Technical Environmental Committee will offer a public tour Thursday at 7 p.m. of the Grove Gulch and Lexington Wetlands sites—both in the Silver Bow Creek Corridor—and invite local residents to attend the event. The Montana Standard
