A community hiking venture will take place at Hearst Lake on Saturday.
Attendees will receive water and snacks at every mile + lunch at the top.
The Butte Farmers Market runs Saturdays until Oct.
10 on West Park Street in Uptown Butte. Local vendors will sell fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, baked goods and handmade crafts + seasonal favorites.
Today, Butte Depot will host a benefit event for Mark LaFond with live music and a jam session to support his recovery from heart surgery.
Local bands, including High Ore Road and the Ken Rich Band, are set to perform.
🎭 Culture
Violinist Karls and poet Mickelson will share their art at Butte Archives on June 24 (guests are encouraged to bring a sack lunch as coffee and water will be provided).
🌲 Environment
Butte residents raised concerns Tuesday night at an EPA public hearing on a new proposal to set lead limits in soils and dust inside homes.
The agency said community feedback will help shape the revised standards.
