EDUCATION NEWS

  • Butte School District rejected a complaint from Sid DeBarathy and George Foley who said the girls softball fields at Stodden Park are unsafe and in poor shape while boys’ sports have received major upgrades. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Jericho Mountain Fire burned five miles south of MacDonald Pass in Powell County within the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest and grew to 102 acres by Monday in steep, rugged terrain. Fire crews from several agencies are using aerial resources and other tools—retardant drops and surveillance—to manage the blaze while advising residents to avoid the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail as hot, dry weather may increase its size.  KXTL

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Montana legislators detailed Senate Bill 90 today, which will give primary residents a $437 property tax credit — the credit is set to increase over the years as surplus tourist fees help lower costs. The bill will provide annual relief by showing the credit on property tax records for Montana homeowners.  KXTL

No more rummaging through your suitcase — everything stays in its place, easily accessible when you need it.

Lightweight and durable, these cubes are ideal for carry-ons and checked bags alike. They also help prevent overpacking by limiting how much you can fit in each cube. Once you try them, you’ll wonder how you ever traveled without them.
