Ray Hibnes will attempt to lift over 96,000 pounds using a kettlebell today at Kinetic Fitness to raise funds for Butte Spirit Homes and their new addiction recovery facility.
He has set world records before and is backed by local fitness experts to ensure proper form during the hour-long challenge.
Cruise Nite returns with classic car shows for families, with the first event on Wednesday, June 17 at GTR Towing & Repair *8 Dewey Blvd* from 6 to 8 p.m., and future shows will take place every other Wednesday at local businesses while visitors vote for the Peoples Choice Award.
The Butte Family YMCA celebrated its 20th year by reopening pools and installing new boilers in a brief ceremony led by CEO Stephanie Feist outside the facility — a milestone for the center.
