Good morning, Butte.

Organizers of Butte's Montana Folk Festival scheduled for July 11th to 13th have secured 20 performers, and despite a drop in Canadian tourist numbers from lower border crossings, hotel bookings and credit card sales, Festival Director George Everett said he remains confident—local ties will still draw visitors.

Butte Central held its 2025 commencement on Sunday, June 1 at St. Ann's Catholic Church where graduates received their diplomas and celebrated completing their studies.

Gina and Ronnie Estes of Copper Development have restored an 1891 building on Montana and Park streets into 12 modern apartments while keeping many original details—vintage doors, trim, and faucets—to retain its historic charm.
