GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Montana DOT and Sletten Construction began upgrading two Butte bridges, with full closures at the Centennial Avenue bridge through mid-October and lane shifts plus closures at the Burlington Street bridge on I-90 through mid-August — drivers are urged to follow posted detours. KXLF
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A study from NiceRx released in April found Montana ranked fifth in the nation for heart disease death rate increases, with a 9.7% rise from 2014 to 2023. Health experts advise residents to adopt early preventive measures such as regular exercise and a balanced diet. KXLF
