- ➤ Meg Murphy’s Connecting for the Cancer Cure event is set for September 13 at Highland View Golf Course and will begin at 10 a.m. with a two-man alternate shot golf tournament + cornhole contest at Uno’s Lounge followed by a street dance with live music to benefit the St. James Cancer Center. The 17-year fundraiser has raised over $240,000 to help patients and urges early registration. KXTL
