- ➤ Engine 25, a historic steam engine at the Butte Civic Center, is being restored by Al Hess and local partners to become a new tourist attraction — the $350,000 project will be supported by raffle ticket sales at the Mayfair event this weekend. KXLF

- ➤ Last night, a thief broke into Butte Depot on Arizona Street—a favorite bar restored by local community efforts—officials ask anyone with information to contact the Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff's Department. KXTL
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Tommy Mellott, a native of Butte and a standout at Montana State, has signed a 4-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders — the contract is worth over $4 million with a base salary of $850,000 in 2025 and a bonus of more than $170,000. He will play as a wide receiver and on special teams. KXTL
