- ➤ During the final week of the legislative session, lawmakers advanced House Bill Two to signal an imminent adjournment while critics warned that property tax relief would not offset massive spending. On Monday, Governor Gianforte signed House Bill 337—cutting the top income tax rate and increasing the Earned Income Tax Credit—to deliver tax relief for Montanans. KXTL
