- ➤ The Butte Elks are hosting Game Night today at 6 p.m. for adults 18 and older at their lodge at 206 W. Galena in Historic Uptown Butte—attendees can bring board, card and dice games while snacks, beverages and a 50/50 raffle add extra fun. KXTL

- ➤ On April 15, 2025, 21-year-old Ava Tolliver died when her motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck turning left across her lane near the intersection of Stucky—Cottonwood just after 5:30 p.m. KXTL

- ➤ Montana’s popular coffee chain—known for its drive-thru service—was named the worst in America by TCMA Conseil. The ranking may lead regular customers to reconsider their morning brew. KXTL
- ➤ A poultry farmer in St. Ignatius said a USPS route change has increased chick delivery time from Iowa to about five days—killing many and forcing her to drive 420 miles to retrieve them, a situation that is hurting her business. The Montana Standard

- ➤ Two men are accused of kidnapping and terrorizing two others in Butte—one suspect pleaded not guilty to nine felony counts while the other awaits arraignment. The Montana Standard
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Covellite Theater on Broadway in Uptown Butte will host a live concert featuring three bands — Spruce Alley Sally, The Timber Rattlers, and Redd and the Paper Flowers. Tickets cost $15 at the door and the bands will perform Americana, folk, and bluegrass music. KXTL

- ➤ Montana lets residents own exotic pets like bobcats and wolverines if they get the proper permits and pass an environmental check—Fish, Wildlife & Parks requires a Fur Farm License and fees to keep these animals safe. KXTL

- ➤ Target voluntarily recalled 25,600 units of Good & Gather baby Pea, Zucchini, Kale & Thyme Vegetable Puree on March 12 after tests found high lead levels in the product (lot numbers 4167 and 4169 with best by dates December 7 and December 9) and Montanans are urged to check their pantries. KXTL
