- ➤ Private Harry David Bordner’s remains were returned to his hometown on Wednesday after 85 years when a Montana National Guard C-130 landed at Bert-Mooney Airport around 6:30 p.m. His funeral will be held Friday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with a graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery at 12:15 p.m. KXLF
- ➤ Dozens lined Harrison Ave on Wednesday evening to welcome home Pvt. Henry 'Harry' Bordner—a WWII POW who died in 1942—after his remains were identified. The return provided closure for his family and honored his legacy in the community. The Montana Standard
- ➤ Henry David Bordner, a Butte soldier who died in WWII, had his remains identified in 2025 and returned on Apr. 15 — a long-awaited homecoming — and he will be honored today with a military funeral at St. Ann’s Catholic Church followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery at 12:15 p.m. KXLF

- ➤ Tomorrow at 8 p.m., The Covellite will host the 420 Smoke Signals hip-hop showcase featuring Lady Dice and Montana artists along with a swag booth and a consumption tent by Euphoria Wellness; tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. KXTL
- ➤ Today, Covellite Theater hosts the Covellite Players' debut improv show 'Nerdy Buttons' featuring unscripted scenes and audience suggestions. Doors open at 6pm — tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door. KXTL
