- ➤ Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Butte will host a Bingo Bonanza fundraiser at the Butte Depot on April 17 at 7 p.m. to support youth mentorship programs — the event helps serve about 100 local children. KXLF
- ➤ Army Private Henry Bordner’s remains, identified by DNA and isotope tests, return home today between 3pm and 8pm along Airport Road for a public honor line + final military services will occur Friday at Mountain View Cemetery around noon. KXTL
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Montana Tech students showcased creativity in the Copper Chef competition at the Living and Learning Center, where teams had 10 minutes to plan and 60 minutes to cook surprise dishes using ground beef + canned pineapple. The winning pair earned praise for inventive Hawaiian-inspired pierogis. Montana Tech
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Montana Tech is hosting the Out of the Darkness Walk on its campus Saturday at 11 a.m. to raise awareness for suicide prevention and offer comfort to those who have suffered loss. Registration is available (in person and online) beginning at 10 a.m. KXLF

- ➤ The Butte Central baseball team will host the Dillon Beavers today at Legends Stadium (varsity starts at 3 p.m. and the JV game follows at 5 p.m.) as part of a busy week in community sports. KXTL
