  • BUTTE — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for any information on 16-year-old Izzabella Marie Smith Collett, who was last seen in Whitehall on March 26.  KXLF

CULTURE NEWS

  • A guide lists 26 planned Montana concerts for 2025 that promise popular country music acts and local festivals. The list highlights events at big venues like MetraPark and smaller spots like the KettleHouse Amphitheater—drawing on the state’s rich cowboy culture.  KXTL

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Last week, the Montana Senate approved a bill that would let the governor appoint three Public Service Commission members—removing voters’ power to elect them.  The Montana Standard
  • Kurt Alme explained that the FBI will send 60 agents to Native American reservations in a new operation to solve cold cases and violent crimes such as those involving missing indigenous women—while also using immigration charges to curb a 10% rise in crime since his last term.  KXTL
  • The city of Butte filed a lawsuit last Thursday against producers of firefighting gear that contains harmful forever chemicals which put over one million firefighters at risk.
