Belmont Senior Center in Butte said uncertainty over federal grant funding has put its Meals on Wheels program at risk as a pause on funds threatens the part—37%—that covers each $12 meal while donations support the rest.

The program currently feeds about 200 seniors at home and serves an extra 300 meals at the center, leaving staff worried that any funding cuts could disrupt these essential services.
