- ➤ The Men and Women's Divisions of Butte's Ancient Order of Hibernians are hosting free carousel rides for children with green popcorn and Irish music this Sunday, Mar. 15 from noon until 6 p.m. at the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel (located on the grounds of Stodden Park). KXTL
- ➤ The annual Empty Bowls event will be held on Wednesday, Apr. 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Butte Civic Center, 1340 Harrison Ave, giving locals a chance to support the cause. The Montana Standard

- ➤ A sudden winter storm forces Butte, Divide, and Ramsay schools to cancel classes tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a severe winter warning and residents are urged to stock up on supplies and drive carefully amid heavy, wet snow. KXTL
- ➤ State Superintendent Susie Hedalen approved a new school health trust today with 150+ school districts on board and will place $40 million in incentive funds for educators and district employees. The Montana Standard
