Public land advocates across Montana held meetings to oppose the Forest Service's push to repeal the roadless rule; they met Monday in Missoula and will meet today at Hamilton's Rocky Mountain Grange (6 to 7:30 p.m.) with more gatherings scheduled later in the week.

The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks launches a new ambassador business program to help residents purchase fishing and hunting licenses this license year.
