- ➤ AOH will offer free carousel rides and host its annual St. Patrick's dinner on March 16 at a local venue, inviting residents to join in the community celebration ahead of St. Patrick's Day. The Montana Standard
- ➤ Butte resident Don Heffington, 85, has been volunteering to document Montana wolverines since 2017 after his game cameras captured two in the Jerry Creek drainage. His ongoing work brings a rare look at our local wildlife to the community. The Montana Standard
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ East Middle School students learned about hurling (a 3,000-year-old Irish sport) and practiced Irish language phrases today, as Montana Grizzlies Hurling Club and a University of Montana expert led the session. An exhibition game is set for 2 p.m. in Butte on St. Patrick’s Day. KXLF

- ➤ Montana slipped to No.31 in the America's Health Rankings 2025 Report as increased alcohol use and e-cigarette consumption emerged, though lower obesity rates and strong graduation figures offered some positives; 24% of residents skipped care due to costs (compared to a No.13 ranking in 1990).
